The global economic downturn had a major impact on talent management programs. Many actions were taken at the height of the turmoil (layoffs, restructurings, pay freezes, promotion freezes) out of short-term economic necessity. Now that the dust has settled, the longer-term implications – and unintended consequences – of these actions are becoming apparent.

This brief survey is intended to determine current and future talent management priorities, the current status of talent programs, and the actions that organizations around the world are taking to review and recalibrate their talent programs as they turn the corner and focus again on growth and financial health. When you take the survey, your responses will be compared to the responses of more than 700 organizations that have already completed it.

How does the survey work?

This survey contains a total of six questions, of which some some require multiple answers. Once you have selected your response for each question or sub-question, click the “SUBMIT” button to view a graphical representation of all responses from survey participants to that question. The results are based on a percentage of the total number of responses. The total number of responses is displayed at the bottom of each graph. Your response to each question will be highlighted in red for comparison purposes. At the conclusion of the six questions, you can choose to print a document displaying all of the graphs.
